Tatum Paxley is adjusting to life on the WWE SmackDown brand after spending two months on the main roster, leaning on seasoned veterans Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair for mentorship, wrestlinginc.com reported.
The former NXT Women's Champion opened up about her ongoing transition during an interview on Busted Open Radio, explaining how she relies on the guidance of Flair and Bliss while managing a demanding travel schedule and unfamiliar crowds.
Mentorship Under Flair and Bliss
Paxley acknowledged the support she receives from her two primary mentors during her initial weeks on the blue brand. She stated on Busted Open Radio, as transcribed by Wrestling Inc., I couldn’t ask for two better people to take me under their wing and introduce me to this world, because it’s different than NXT.
She added, I’m traveling all the time. I’m seeing different crowds. It’s different. To have people of their caliber watch over me, I couldn’t be more thankful for the position that I’m in.
Paxley noted that both veterans check in on her every single week to ensure she has what she needs.
Paxley Joins Flair and Bliss on SmackDown
The partnership between Paxley, Flair, and Bliss formed almost immediately upon her arrival on SmackDown. Paxley interfered in a match by wiping out B-Fab and Michin with a crossbody to help Flair defeat Jade Cargill in singles competition.
Following that interference, Flair and Bliss embraced Paxley as part of their group, eventually teaming together as a trio at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Paxley previously pointed to Bliss as her primary inspiration when she began her professional wrestling career in 2021 after a background in cheerleading and powerlifting. The two previously crossed paths inside the ring during a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match on NXT Homecoming in 2025.
