From Pet-Sitting to Animal Taxi: A Growing Enterprise
After two decades in customer service-related positions,Delhommel decided to pursue her passion for animals. She identified a need in her community for reliable pet care and launched VD Nannymals to fill that void.
I saw the various needs of pet owners around me. That’s how I created VD Nannymals, to offer walks and home visits for people who are away, to provide care, and even walk their animals.
Currently, VD Nannymals offers dog walking services and in-home visits for all types of pets within a 9-mile radius of Tourlaville, a section of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin.
During these visits, Delhommel ensures pets are well-cared for.”I take care of cleaning and replenishing food and water bowls, changing litter boxes, and administering basic care if needed,” she said. “Above all,I play with them and give them affection. the lack of social interaction can be detrimental to pets’ health during extended absences.”
