Leila, a participant in the 10th season of the Telecinco reality series La isla de las tentaciones, has described the emotional difficulty of watching the program’s broadcast months after the events took place.
During an appearance on El Debate de las Tentaciones on May 8, 2026, the Canary Islands native stated that reliving the experience through the televised episodes has been very hard
.
Leila was the first participant to succumb to temptation during the current season. While she described herself as a strong person, she admitted that seeing the footage and reliving the moments has been a challenging process.
A significant portion of the distress stemmed from viewing segments of the show that she had not previously seen, specifically the bonfires
—the program’s characteristic segments where participants watch footage of their partners’ actions.
Leila noted that seeing her partner, Atamán, in a state of distress was particularly difficult, stating that seeing him so broken
was not pleasant. She expressed that she did not feel proud upon viewing those specific moments.
The couple had been in a relationship for 11 years prior to the experience. Leila recalled that before entering the reality show, Atamán had expressed fear that she might realize she was not in love with him. Upon seeing his devastation during the bonfire, she suggested that he may now be realizing that such a possibility exists.
Despite the emotional weight of the broadcast, Leila maintained that she had been sincere with both herself and her partner regarding her feelings throughout the process.
