Ten Phillies prospects are continuing their seasons in the Arizona Fall League. The contingent is led by infielder Aidan Miller, who ranks as the organization’s second-best prospect and MLB Pipeline’s No. 59 overall prospect, alongside nine other farmhands assigned across the circuit.
Surprise Saguaros Roster Features Nine Phillies Prospects
Nine of the ten Phillies participants are playing for the Surprise Saguaros, joining prospects from all 30 major-league organizations across the league’s six teams. The circuit operates on a 30-game schedule that began on October 3 and concludes with the championship game on November 14. Miller headlines the Surprise roster after an injury-shortened 2026 campaign that included back surgery in June and a late-season return to Double-A Reading, where he played his first professional games at third base.
Escobar finished the regular season strong with a .372 batting average over 12 games in September and faces a critical offseason as a Rule 5 draft-eligible player whom the Phillies must add to their 40-man roster.
Outfielders and Catchers Build Fall Reps After Injury-Interrupted Seasons
Dante Nori represents the only member of the current Phillies contingent who also participated in the 2025 Arizona Fall League, where Surprise ultimately captured the championship by defeating Peoria 9-4. Nori’s 2026 season with Reading was limited to 67 games due to a stress fracture in his hip, during which he batted .244 with three home runs and 17 stolen bases after representing Italy in the World Baseball Classic. He opened the fall slate going 2-for-5 with a triple and one RBI against Scottsdale.
Catcher and first baseman Kehden Hettiger also reported to Surprise after playing 61 games for Reading, where he hit .191 with eight home runs while missing time due to knee injuries. Hettiger recorded three hits and two walks through his first two fall contests, including a pair of doubles. Meanwhile, catcher Luke Davis stands as the lone Phillies prospect assigned elsewhere, joining the Scottsdale Scorpions because the club required an additional catcher. Davis batted .201 with four home runs over 188 plate appearances primarily for High-A Jersey Shore during the regular season and has reached base three times through his first two fall games despite going hitless in three at-bats.
Pitching Staff Deepens Fall Workloads Across Multiple Levels
Five right-handed and left-handed pitchers round out the organization’s representation on the mound in Arizona. Keegan Batka made 35 relief appearances across three levels during the regular season, posting a 3.14 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over 51⅔ innings with Single-A Clearwater, Jersey Shore, and Reading before allowing two earned runs in one inning during his fall debut. Ryan Dromboski worked 3⅓ scoreless innings in his first fall outing, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out one after logging an 81-inning workload split between Jersey Shore and Reading.
Estibenzon Jiménez transitioned exclusively to relief in 2026 and went 7-0 with a 2.38 ERA and seven saves across four levels, earning a save in his fall debut by striking out two during a perfect ninth inning against Salt River. Left-hander Kevin Warunek pitched across four levels during a regular season interrupted by multiple stint on the injured list, finishing with a 3.43 ERA over 21 innings before permitting one run in his fall appearance. Andrew Walling completed the pitching group by replacing Jose Peña Jr. on the Surprise roster while Peña recovers from elbow discomfort in Clearwater. Walling was limited to 11 appearances with Triple-A Lehigh Valley due to an elbow sprain that sidelined him from May until September, but he opened his fall assignment by retiring the side with a scoreless inning and one strikeout against Salt River.
The Arizona Fall League schedule continues daily through the November 14 championship game as the ten prospects work to build additional developmental innings.
