TESOLO to Exhibit Model DG-3F at CES 2024

Tesolo to Showcase New Robot Grippers at CES 2024

Tesolo Co., Ltd. announced its participation in CES 2024, which will take place in Las Vegas, USA from January 9 to 12, 2024. Tesolo is a developer of robot grippers and automation solutions, with a focus on the Delto Gripper-3F (DG-3F) model, capable of gripping various objects regardless of material or shape. Other models include the DG-2F, designed for underwater use, and the DG-V model optimized for palletizing work.

Aside from gripper manufacturing, Tesolo offers robot automation solutions using its own gripper line. One of the flagship solutions is a robot automated picking solution that integrates the DG-3F model, a vision system, and a robot arm, suitable for manufacturing and logistics processes.

A Tesolo official stated, “Robots of the future will expand their work to include picking up and moving atypical objects of various materials and shapes.” Tesolo specializes in developing robot hands, which are a core part of the future. The company focuses on developing core hardware and software such as grip control algorithms to enable robots to stably grip and handle various objects.

DG-3F: A Durable and Maintainable Robot Gripper

The DG-3F model, commercialized by Tesolo, ensures durability and maintainability, featuring 3 fingers and 12 joints. It is equipped with a built-in gripping control algorithm that allows even non-experts to easily control the robot hand. The gripper can be used by connecting it to various collaborative and industrial robots, and has a maximum gripping capacity of up to 10 kg with a lightweight of less than 1 kg.

“Our company has made initial sales of more than 20 units to Korean robot research and development institutions and conducted PoCs with major Korean companies, and achieved a cumulative investment of more than KRW 2 billion,” an official said. Tesolo intends to expand its market reach by targeting manufacturing and logistics companies, SI (Systems Integration) robot companies, and service robot manufacturing companies.

CES: The Global Stage for Innovative Technologies

CES, hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), is the world’s largest IT exhibition that showcases innovative technologies from around the world. AVING News, a prominent CES news reporter, has covered the event for 18 consecutive years and has been selected for prestigious awards such as ‘BEST OF CES’ and ‘BEST OF MADE IN KOREA’.

As CES 2024 approaches, Tesolo’s participation is anticipated to bring a new wave of robot grippers and automation solutions to the forefront of the global stage for innovative technologies.

TESOLO Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Young-jin) announced that it will participate in CES 2024, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA from Tuesday, January 9 to January 12, 2020 (local time) next year.

Tesolo is a company that develops robot grippers and robot automation solutions. Starting with the Delto Gripper-3F (hereafter ‘DG-3F’), which can stably grip a variety of objects regardless of their material or shape, the DG-2F, which able to work underwater, and the DG-V model optimized for palletizing work. In addition to gripper manufacturing, TESOLO also provides robot automation solutions using its own gripper line. The representative solution is a robot automated picking solution that integrates the DG-3F model, a vision system, and a robot arm, and can be applied to processes where robots grasp and move various objects in manufacturing and logistics processes ( or service robots) .

In relation to this, a TESOL official said, “If current robots are limited to picking up and moving one standard object quickly, robots of the future will expand their work to include picking up and moving atypical objects of various materials and shapes.” From this perspective, the gripper (robot hand), which corresponds to the robot’s hand, is a key part that determines the functionality of the robot. “We are a company that specializes in developing robot hands, which will be a core part of the future. Among them, we develop core hardware and software (grip control algorithm) for robots to stably grip and handle various objects,” he explained.

DG-3F is a commercialized model that ensures durability and maintainability even though it is a robot gripper consisting of 3 fingers and 12 joints. In particular, it has a built-in gripping control algorithm that can stably grip different objects, so even non-experts can easily control the robot hand. The gripper can be used by connecting it to various collaborative robots or industrial robots such as Universal Robots (UR), Techman Robot (TM), and Doosan, and can grip up to 10 kg with a light weight of less than 1 kg.

An official said, “Our company has made initial sales of more than 20 units to Korean robot research and development institutions and conducted PoCs with major Korean companies, and achieved a cumulative investment of more than KRW 2 billion.” He added, “We are expanding the bin and piece collection processes in the global market in the future.” “We intend to expand our scope by targeting manufacturing and logistics companies preparing to build automation, SI (Systems Integration) robot companies, and service robot manufacturing companies that need to pick up various objects (housekeeping robots, last mile robots , and so forth). “.
