Thai Striker Suphanat Muanta Joins OH Leuven on Loan
Buriram United’s Suphanat Muanta has officially secured a one-year loan deal with Belgian top-flight team OH Leuven.
Buriram United, known as the “Thunder Castle,” announced the loan confirmation of Suphanat Muanta. The 21-year-old Thai national team striker has joined OH Leuven for the upcoming season in Belgium’s premier league.
The Facebook page of Buriram United released a statement, confirming the agreement between OH Leuven and the Thai club. Suphanat Muanta will spend the next year with OH Leuven before returning to Buriram United. The striker will then complete the necessary paperwork, including obtaining a work permit, to resume training with OH Leuven as soon as possible.
Before his move to OH Leuven, Suphanat had trained with the U-21 team of Leicester City, also known as the “Siam Fox,” since June. He then continued his training with OH Leuven, a partner club of Leicester City. Impressing during preseason games with the Belgian team, Suphanat Muanta successfully secured a loan contract with OH Leuven.
