When⁢ questioned about⁤ regaining support from disillusioned voters, Akanat expressed uncertainty but vowed transparency. “I understand how they feel,” he said. “Now that the decision has been made, I can no longer avoid speaking frankly [to the public].”

The UTN’s commitment is not without caveats. Akanat noted that the Constitutional Court’s pending decision ‍on⁢ a petition to‍ oust Prime minister ⁢Paetongtarn Shinawatra adds another layer of⁣ uncertainty. “Anything could happen.⁢ we’ll do ⁢our best for today,” he said.
