The Armed Forces congratulate the Christian brothers on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection – General Information Service

Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, sent a cable of congratulations to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark, on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection Day of 2024. Her text came :

It gives me great pleasure to send Your Holiness my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection Day, praying to God to bring it back to you and to your Coptic brothers from Egypt with health, goodness and blessings.

I would like to express to you my pride and the pride of the Armed Forces in your patriotic stances, which always affirm that the people of Egypt, both Muslims and Copts, are one fabric united by one homeland and one hope in building Egypt and its rich and glorious history.

On this glorious occasion, I praise the efforts and sacrifices of the Coptic Armed Forces men and their fulfillment of the tasks and responsibilities that they carry, so that the Armed Forces, with their men, remain the strong shield protecting the homeland and the impregnable fortress of the people.

May God protect Egypt and bless your giving. Happy New Year to your Holiness.

Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also sent a similar cable of congratulations to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark, on this occasion.

Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, issued a directive to congratulate commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, military industrialists, soldiers and civilian workers.

With the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Military Production from the Copts on the occasion of the celebration of the glorious Resurrection Day.

Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also issued a similar directive to congratulate Coptic leaders, officers, non-commissioned officers, military craftsmen, soldiers, and civilian workers in the Armed Forces on the same occasion.
