The Battle Between MV Govindan and Kerala Governor: Economic Emergency Threat Worthless

Kerala CPM State Secretary MV Govindan Challenges Governor on Article 360 Threat

CPM State Secretary MV Govindan has strongly criticized the recent threat made by the Governor of Kerala to recommend economic emergency under Article 360. Govindan dismissed the threat as irrelevant in the context of Kerala’s current situation, attributing the state’s economic crisis to the central government’s policies. He emphasized that the people of Kerala stand united against any attempts to implement Article 360 in the state.

Furthermore, Govindan raised concerns about the governor’s alleged interference in the higher education sector, suggesting a deliberate effort to hinder the progress made by universities in Kerala. He pointed to the governor’s affiliations with the RSS chief and expressed apprehensions about the potential influence of the Sangh Parivar agenda.

In addition, Govindan accused the Governor of attempting to undermine the democratic system and education sector in Kerala, citing controversial nominations made by the Calicut University Governor. He highlighted the appointment of individuals affiliated with political parties, who may lack the necessary qualifications for the positions.

Thiruvananthapuram – CPM State Secretary MV Govindan said that the Governor’s threat that he will not hesitate to recommend economic emergency (Article 360) is worthless in Kerala. The governor’s effort is to fight fire. Govindan said that the central government is the sole cause of Kerala’s economic crisis.

“The Governor is now talking about Section 360 targeting the Kerala government, making it clear that any threat to implement it in Kerala is not worth it. It should be noted that this is a fire match. The people of Kerala will strongly oppose this move. Strong struggles and agitations have emerged in Kerala against the stand taken as part of saffron.

Many universities in Kerala have achieved double ranks and more in university rankings. The governor is now being used deliberately to block this progress in higher education. Not only because our governor is the governor who has met and communicated with the RSS chief, we can still expect the Sangh Parivar agenda to go beyond this. the

Every move by the Governor is intended to destroy the education sector and the democratic system in Kerala. If we look at the nominations made by the Calicut University Governor, people working under the leadership of RSS, BJP and UDF, who have no qualifications to be nominated to Parliament, have been nominated,” he added.
