The Best Goalkeeper Award in the Asian Nations 2023 thanks to everyone’s efforts

Mishal Barshim, Qatar national team goalkeeper, expressed his happiness at his team winning the 2023 Asian Nations Cup for the second time in a row.
The Qatari team retained the prestigious continental title after its great 3-1 victory over the Jordanian team, today, Saturday, in the final match of the competition, which was hosted by the Qatari stadiums. Barshim won the best goalkeeper award in the tournament, thanks to his saves, which led the (Al-Anabi) team to the top of the podium in the end.
The Qatari goalkeeper said in media statements after the match, which took place at the Lusail World Cup Stadium, “The award is the result of the efforts of the players, the technical and administrative staff, and the fans. I congratulate the Emir of Qatar, the people, and the fans for the achievement of winning the Asian Nations title.”
Barshim stressed, “We made a lot of effort and sacrificed a lot in the past period, and we thank God for crowning this work with success in the end.” Barshim explained, “The Jordanian national team is a very respected team throughout the tournament, but we were able to win the title at their expense.”
