The bodies of father and son were hanging in the same room in the capital

The police recovered the bodies of father and son from their house in Beraid area of ​​Badda police station of the capital. They are Giyas Uddin (70) and his son Rakib Hossain (30). Rakib is an electrician by profession and his father is a retired school teacher. Their village home is in Narayanganj. The police recovered their bodies around 8 pm.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Gulshan Division Badda Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC) Rajan Kumar Saha confirmed the recovery of the body on Wednesday (February 28) around 11:30 pm.

According to the police, Rakib Hussain was supposed to go to a wedding ceremony on Wednesday evening. But not getting the wedding ceremony, his classmate Harun came home to look for him. At around 9:15 PM, Harun and his other classmates broke the door and entered the house after finding it closed. Then they saw the hanging bodies of father and son.

Later the locals informed the police. The police arrived at the spot around 9:30 and recovered the body and sent it to Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue.

It is initially known that Gias Uddin’s wife died about two years ago. Since then father and son lived in one room of that house. They are tenants in that house for about 12 years.

In the initial investigation, the police found out that the father and son often had disputes over various issues. It is believed that both of them committed suicide due to anger and resentment.
