A remarkable 80 gold medals were up for grabs, and the Chinese delegation continued to shine, triumphing with an impressive haul of 36 golds, 24 silvers, and 22 bronzes. This incredible performance has solidified their lead in the medal table, boasting a total of 67 golds, 53 silvers, and 45 bronzes. Following behind are the Iranian and Japanese delegations, securing their positions with 16 and 12 gold medals respectively.

The T36 men’s long jump witnessed outstanding performances from two Guangdong athletes. Yang Yifei soared to victory by achieving a personal best jump of 5.69 meters. Another Guangdong representative, Deng Peicheng, showcased his talent in his Asian Paralympic debut and claimed the third spot on the podium.
