The Egyptian youth national team achieved a dramatic victory over Mauritania with a score of 2-1 in the match that brought them together during the friendly tournament in Algeria.
Algeria will host the international friendly tournament with the participation of the teams of Egypt, Tunisia and Mauritania.
Mohamed Zaalouk opened the scoring for the Egyptian youth team in the 24th minute, before Mauritania equalized in the 25th minute.
Zaalouk returned to score his second goal for Shabab Al-Pharaohs in the 26th minute.
The Egyptian youth national team is scheduled to conclude its matches in the friendly tournament in Algeria against Tunisia on March 25.
The youth team, which is technically led by Wael Riad, lost in its first match to Algeria with a score of 2-1.
