The fastest way to make a thermos.. Prepare it in simple steps on Eid – Miscellaneous

Lupine is one of the most popular snacks that Egyptians love to eat during the days of Eid al-Fitr, due to its delicious taste and high nutritional value. In this context, we will review the quickest way to make lupine for Eid, with ingredients available at home.

The housewife can prepare lupine in an easy and quick way on Eid al-Fitr, by following Chef Naglaa El-Shershaby’s recipe, which she presented during her program “Ala ad-Aid” on the CBC Sofra screen.

The fastest way to make thermos

Ingredients for preparing lupine:

  • 1 kilo of sweet lupine.
  • 1 small cup of lemon juice.
  • 3 teaspoons of cumin.
  • 3 teaspoons of salt or as desired.
  • 2 teaspoons of chili pepper, or as needed.

How to make a thermos step by step:

  • Purify the sweet lupine well to remove any impurities from it.
  • Soak the lupine in a bowl filled with water for at least 24 hours.
  • Drain the lupine from the water it was soaked in, and soak it again in clean water to remove the bitterness in the lupine.
  • Place the thermos in a pot or bowl so that the water covers all the seeds, then put it on the fire.
  • Wait from a quarter to half an hour until it boils and reaches the correct degree of doneness.
  • Drain the lupine from the water after boiling it, and place it in an external container, covering it with lukewarm water.
  • Add salt, chili and cumin to it, stirring well.
  • Place the thermos in the refrigerator, and it can be eaten only 3 hours after settling.
  • Put a little chili and lemon on top of the lupine, as desired.

The fastest way to make lupine and chickpeas

You can prepare lupine and chickpeas by preparing the following ingredients:

  • ½ kilo lupine.
  • ¼ kilo of chickpeas.
  • Boiling water.
  • a pinch of salt.
  • Lemon.

How to prepare:

  • Soak the lupine and chickpeas in separate pots for 24 hours, then wash them.
  • Place the pots on the fire and wait until they are cooked.
  • Drain the water well and rinse the lupine and chickpeas.
  • Add the chickpeas to the thermos and put an amount of water over it.
  • Add salt to the lupine and chickpeas, then sprinkle lemon and cumin as desired.
