The third chapter of Poppy Playtime, where she escapes from a strange-looking toy, will be released on the 31st.
Chapter 3 of Poppy Playtime is the largest and most terrifying DLC in the series ever. It introduces creative puzzles based on new grab packs in a nursery filled with various toys, a gas mask to get through thick smoke, and new monsters hiding in the dark.
The Poppy Playtime series has received very positive reviews from users for its breathtaking tension and original puzzles set in a toy factory where a mysterious incident occurred, and has established itself as a representative IP of the indie horror genre since 2021.
In this chapter, following Hungry Woggie from Part 1 and Mommy Long Legs from Part 2, the Smiling Critters hiding in the darkness seem to be the main characters. Smiling Critters’ Catnap, Bearhug, and Dogday appeared in enormous sizes in the gameplay trailer, signaling the possibility of them becoming new horror icons.
Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 will be released as DLC for the main game at 2 am on the 31st.
