The film The Swarm, starring the artist Ahmed El Sakka, succeeded in topping the cinema box office, on its first day of release, yesterday, Wednesday, achieving approximately one million and 603 thousand pounds, and it is the work that is shown in 100 theaters, between Cairo and a large number of Egyptian governorates, Its events revolve around one of the operations carried out by the Egyptian army and the Egyptian National Security Forces against terrorist organizations, to take revenge for the massacre of 21 Egyptians in Libya and the expansion of the army’s operations to confront these terrorist groups.

For his part, director Ahmed Nader Jalal revealed the scenes of the film The Swarm, in statements to “et in Arabic,” saying: “The film cannot be classified as action only, because it includes scenes that reflect conflicting emotions and feelings. It certainly includes many action scenes, but it is a commercial cinematic film that talks about… The pride of the Egyptian spirit.”

The director of the film The Squadron added: “Ahmed Al-Sakka met in long sessions with officers of the armed forces, in order to learn how to use firearms, and every artist who played the role of a pilot in the film underwent a long training phase, and they were present at the air base to learn all the details, and I expect that Mohamed Mamdouh will be a surprise.” The film portrays a different character for the first time in his career.

The story of the film The Swarm by Ahmed El Sakka
During the events of the work, Ahmed Al-Sakka embodies the character of “Ali Al-Masry”, who cooperates with armed groups and smuggles oil in order to obtain money. The work deals with real incidents of the Egyptian security authorities fighting terrorist groups, including the incident of the slaughter of 21 Egyptians in Libya.
