The operational and communication center of the Brod-Posavina Police Administration received a report about the drowning of a person in Lake Kruševica in the municipality of Slavonski Šamac in Croatia at around 17:55.
Emergency services were sent to the scene, including police officers from the Slavonski Brod Police Station with the Vrpolje Branch. They started the search with the aim of finding the person and establishing the identity.
HGSS members found the dead body of an 18-year-old girl at the bottom of Lake Kruševica after 8 p.m.
The body was found about 5 meters from the shore at a depth of about 6 meters.
The further work of police officers and investigation is continuing.
