The Haramin Express will jump easily; Through the hands of women

Riyadh – Indigenous women can also drive trains in Saudi Arabia, where women’s empowerment is widespread. 32 women have completed the Haramain Express Train Conductor Program to drive the Haramain train that connects Makkah and Madinah.

The Saudi Rail Company has informed that the action is part of expanding the empowerment of women into the transport logistics sector. It was also mentioned that there is a plan to train more natives. Tara Ali Al Zahrani is proud to be one of the first women to drive a train in Saudi Arabia. Theoretical and practical training on train safety and technical matters boosted confidence.

He also said that women should come forward to take advantage of the opportunity to serve the country as part of Vision 2030. Rotalla Yasser Najjar said that women have excelled not only in the field of transport, but also in serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and in the security of mosques Haram.

Raneem Talal Azoos said he was happy to take the huge responsibility of driving the train. Haramain serves a train between Makkah, Madinah, Rabigh and Jeddah. Women will drive electric trains at speeds of more than 300 km per hour on the 450 km long track.
