Samer Al-Mashal, president of Al-Ittifaq Club, responded to the activation of Al-Ittihad Club. Ahmed Al-Ghamdi and Saad Al-Moussi contracted with the team during the current period, in order to officially extend their continuation within the ranks of the general during the coming period, in light of the levels presented by the duo during the recent period.
Al-Meshal said in television statements: “Until this moment, Al-Ittihad Club has not negotiated with us about extending the contract with the first activation of the contracts of Ahmed Al-Ghamdi and Saad Al-Seam, and what is being said at the present time regarding this matter is completely untrue.”
He continued: “I am happy with the victory and what the team achieved during the current season in the Roshan League competition, and we hope to continue the successes during the coming period.”
Al-Ittifaq Club’s balance rose to point (44) in sixth place in the Roshen League table, while Al-Ittihad Club’s balance froze at point (50) in fifth place.
