The government of the Zenica-Doboj canton at its session on Friday made a decision to launch the Health Care and Management study program, the second cycle of study, at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica (UNZE).
Provedena procedure
Rector of UNZE Prof. Dr. Jusuf Duraković states that all the procedures were previously followed – the consent of the Senate, the Board of Directors and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports was obtained, and the elaboration on the justification of establishing a new study program was adopted. “There is great interest in this study program. It is planned that 30 candidates will enroll in this self-financed study, and we expect that we will have a sufficient number of students who will enroll in this study program”, says Duraković.
Strengthening UNZA
He notes that the opening of this study program creates the conditions for the start of the third study cycle at the Faculty of Medicine for the study programs General Medicine and Health Care, so that in this way the University of Zenica is strengthened.
