On the 18th, when the 2022 college scholastic ability test (SAT) was held, the story of Park Jae-beom, the head of Busan Nam-gu, who helped the students in crisis, was told.

According to Nam-gu, Busan on the 18th, a student who arrived in a hurry in front of the main gate of Distribution High School in Yongho-dong was caught at 8 a.m. on the same day in trouble. This is because the student forgot and did not bring the watch required at the exam hall.

This image caught the attention of Nam-gu mayor Park Jae-beom, who encouraged the students in front of the school, and the mayor lent his watch to the students.

An official from Nam-gu said, “The student thanked me and asked, ‘How can I deliver it?’, Mayor Park revealed his identity and encouraged him by saying, ‘Don’t worry about it, the test will be great.'”

Also, in Masan, Gyeongsangnam-do, a watch worn by a police officer was unwrapped and handed over to an examinee. In the morning of that day, there was an emergency transportation operation to help students who are in a tardiness crisis in various parts of Gyeongnam. At around 6:50 a.m., an urgent request for help from an examinee who had left a watch at home came in at the Masan Central Police Station’s Jindong Police Station. The police, who were on duty at the time, unpacked the wristwatch he was wearing and lent it to the student, cheering him on, wishing him good luck in the exam.

On the other hand, Mayor Park said on Facebook, “I went to the test center after delaying the morning patrol for a while.” “I lent my watch to a friend who didn’t bring a watch.
