[인사이트] Reporter Lim Ki-soo = Since the iPhone 13, the iPhone’s rear camera has been arranged in a diagonal shape.
It has been predicted that the rear camera lens arrangement of the standard model iPhone 16, which is scheduled to be released next year, will change to a vertical form.
On the 22nd (local time), IT media AppleInsider reported that the rear camera will be placed vertically again from the iPhone 16 on the 12th model.
The diagonal camera lens will continue to this year’s iPhone 15 series.
It is unclear why Apple is planning these changes outside of the design aspect.
At the launch of the iPhone 13, Apple said that “a redesigned rear camera arrangement with diagonally arranged lenses enables an advanced dual camera system.”
For this reason, experts believe that if the camera lens returns to the past design, it seems that it has figured out how to align the parts of the camera in the vertical direction.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, which will be released next year, are expected to have 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively, so a bigger change than the general model is expected.
Since the Pro model will feature a triple lens rear camera, the vertical camera lens arrangement mentioned above is not expected to be applied.
Meanwhile, a while ago, a person believed to be an Apple insider made headlines by saying that the iPhone 15, which will be released this fall, will be better to buy the 16 series because there is not much difference from the current model.
