Ivorian striker Sebastien Haller collapsed during his meeting with the Ivorian Channel correspondent, following the victory over Nigeria and winning the African Cup of Nations.
The text of the reporter and Haller’s conversation was as follows:
Broadcaster: “And now, after everything you’ve been through in your personal life?”
Haller: “That’s good. To stumble and get rewarded, that’s good.”
Broadcaster: “I see tears in your eyes.”
The broadcaster hugs Haller and cries with him, embraces him, hugs him and cries with him for a few moments, then bids him farewell, saying: “No more tears.”
It is worth noting that Haller was the one who scored the winning goal for Côte d’Ivoire against Nigeria in the 81st minute.
