Renowned Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has introduced the limited edition STJ Huracan model, marking the end of the V10 engine era. This model is based on the STO, the track version of the current Huracán series, and features improved performance and special design elements. Lamborghini concluded the rich history of the naturally aspirated V10 engine with the launch of the Huracan STJ and announced plans to continue it with the new PHEV Temerario supercar.

The Huracán STJ is a model focused on maximizing the performance of a supercar and the engineers of Lamborghini Squadra Corse participated in its development. They applied a high-performance aerodynamic package based on 10 years of know-how accumulated in top-level Gran Turismo racing, which increased the vehicle’s downforce by 10% and at the same time significantly improved the balance. New carbon fiber attachments and increased rear wing angles are at the heart of these changes.

This limited edition model delivers a maximum power of 640 horsepower and 57.6 kg.m of torque, and boasts excellent driving performance thanks to the 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and rear-wheel drive system. Furthermore, it features an advanced suspension system that allows you to freely adjust the set-up to optimize it for the track. In particular, the 20-inch center-lock wheels and Bridgestone Potenza racing tires ensure further improved driving dynamics.

All 10 prepared units have been sold.

The Huracan STJ demonstrated its performance by recording a lap time that was more than 1 second faster than the Huracan STO in a test at the Nardo Technology Center. Each vehicle comes with a carbon fiber license plate that reads “1 of 10” and custom license plates can be added to meet customer needs. All quantities have already been sold, which means that mass production of models equipped with the Lamborghini V10 engine has come to an end.

With the launch of the Huracán STJ, Lamborghini officially marks the end of the era of supercars powered by V10 engines. This transition comes in line with changes in technology and environmental standards, and Lamborghini is now opening a new chapter with the Temerario, a PHEV model equipped with a V8 engine. The Huracán STJ is the most powerful track model in Lamborghini’s history, and its limited edition rarity and innovative technology will further highlight the brand’s legacy.
