Date 11 Oct. 2021 meteorological department Depression “Lion Rock”, No. 19, said that at 4:00 a.m. today (Oct. 11, 2021), the depression “Lion Rock” was centered in Huaphan Province, Laos, or at a latitude of 20.0 degrees. North, longitude 104.0 degrees east, maximum sustained winds near the center of about 55 kilometers per hour.
This storm was moving to the southwest. with a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour. It is expected to weaken to a strong pressure cell in the next phase. This will make the North and in the northeast there are some heavy rains
In addition, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand, causing heavy rainfall in some areas in the South. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand are stronger. The Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand have a wave height of 2-3 meters, the lower Gulf of Thailand, a wave height of about 2 meters, and an area with thunderstorms with a wave height of more than 3 meters.
