The North no longer has drizzle but air pollution has increased

The weather in the North improved significantly when the cold air completely weakened, the weather was sunny and the temperature increased. In the South, the heat has not subsided, maintaining the highest temperature above 38 degrees Celsius.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on April 12, the drizzle in the North ended. Light fog also recurs in the early morning, causing air pollution to increase in many urban areas. It is sunny in the afternoon and afternoon.

At the same time, the temperature in the Northeast also increased rapidly and reached the highest threshold of 30-32 degrees Celsius, an increase of 2-4 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day. In the Northwest, the area remains hot, with some places being hot and sunny with temperatures rising above 35 degrees Celsius.

In the South, many places recorded intense heat on April 11 with the highest temperature up to 39 degrees Celsius, concentrated in Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, and Binh Duong. This state will continue on April 12-13, other places will be hot at 35-38 degrees Celsius.

Long-term forecasts show that from now until April 21, the heat will not end in the South. This phenomenon lasts for an unusually long time, making drought and saltwater intrusion in the Mekong Delta likely to increase.

The meteorological agency said the rainy season in the South is likely to arrive one month later than the average for many years, and may not begin until the end of May.

The highest temperature forecast for the next few days shows that the heat will be unusually long and intense in some places in the South (Chart: Man Nhi).
