Karachi: The owner of a well-known hotel involved in gas theft was arrested, the accused was running the hotel by stealing directly from the gas service line.
According to the details, Sui Southern’s crackdown against gas thieves is ongoing, the owner of a hotel known as Chai Gulab Hotel involved in gas theft was arrested.
Against gas thieves, CGTO and Recovery raided a tea hotel in Pathan Colony area of Karachi.
The accused was running the hotel by stealing gas directly from the gas service line, the owner of Chai Gulab Hotel, Shamsul Haque, was arrested red-handed.
The SSGC police arrested the accused Shamsul Haque and registered a case while the raiding team seized the pipe used in the theft and other items.
The spokesperson of Sui Southern Gas says that the accused Shamsul Haq will be fined according to the stolen gas load.
The spokesperson further said that Sui Southern is determined to stop the theft of gas, this is causing damage to the country and the institution, further actions against gas thieves will continue.
