British model dies after eating peanut biscuits in US

According to British media, model and dancer Orla Bagzendale bought biscuits from a store called ‘Love Steward’ in the US, which did not mention on the package that the ingredients included peanuts, which she was allergic to. The model died.

The British model’s family says Orla ate the biscuits in the US state of Connecticut, where she was working on a musical version of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ with a dance company.

According to the family, their daughter was ‘always on the lookout’ for a peanut allergy and never left the house without her EpiPen.

Orla is originally from Lancashire but moved to New York in 2018 to pursue a career in modeling. Orla’s family say The British model was preparing to embark on an international tour with her dance company Momix.

On the other hand, the management of Live Steward Store has also said that the biscuits they have include peanuts and eggs, the information about which was not mentioned on the packet, people who are allergic to these ingredients should avoid eating these biscuits. Do because it can be fatal for them.

Speaking about this, Orla’s family’s lawyer has said that ‘Preliminary investigations have revealed that Orla’s death was caused by gross negligence on the part of the biscuit sellers and makers, but so far no one has come forward on behalf of Orla’s family. No case has been registered against him.
