The Qatar national team is armed with the ground and the crowd against Uzbekistan in the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup

Qatar, the host and home team of the 2023 Asian Cup, will face a heavy-caliber confrontation when it faces its counterpart, Uzbekistan, in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Today’s match, which will be held at 5:30 pm Cairo time, will be difficult for the hosts in light of Uzbekistan’s historical superiority over Qatar, as the Uzbekistan national team has won 9 of the last 11 confrontations against the Qatari national team, and this will be the first confrontation between the two teams in the knockout rounds of the tournament.

The Qatari national team enters the match after topping its group with three victories over Lebanon by 3-0, Tajikistan with a clean goal, and China with the same result, while it defeated Palestine 2-1 in the round of 16, while the Uzbekistan national team enters the match after achieving victory in one match in the group stage against India 3/0 and two draws against Syria 0/0 and Australia 1/1, while a victory over Thailand was achieved by two goals to one in the round of 16.
