In the case of domestic game app downloads, it fell by around 3% compared to the same period last year. However, it turned to growth compared to the fourth quarter of last year and increased by 9%, recording around 140 million downloads in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, the global mobile apps market also showed growth. It broke a new record by achieving $33.9 billion (45 trillion won) in user spending for both non-game and game apps. Game apps accounted for about 60% of all mobile apps with about 21 billion dollars (28 trillion won).
