The representative holiday program ‘Isookdae’, which comes on holidays, will not be aired this Chuseok.
On the 15th, MBC announced to Maeil Business Star Today, “In the aftermath of Corona 19, the ‘Idol Star Athletics Championship’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Idol Star Athletics’) will not be broadcast this Chuseok.”
He continued, “This Chuseok holiday, we plan to present a wealth of Chuseok specials through Chuseok pilot programs such as new programs ‘Extreme Debut Wild Idol’ and spin-offs ‘The Masked Talent’ of ‘King of Mask Singer’ and ‘Family Register Mate’.” In addition, he asked for interest in various special programs to be presented in celebration of the holidays.
‘Idol’ is a program where you can meet many idols in one place, and it has been aired every holiday since its first broadcast in 2010. However, as the spread of Corona 19 continues and social distancing is being enforced with high intensity, it seems that the program will not be held this holiday because it is difficult to run a program with hundreds of idol stars, staff, and fans.
