The current status of comedian Cho Won-seok, who played the role of ‘Crime Min-su’, has been revealed.

On the 16th, Cho Won-seok appeared as a guest on Lee Seong-mi’s YouTube channel ‘Everyday with the Lord’.

Regarding the reason why he became a comedian, Won-seok Cho said, “It came very late. I didn’t even know how to take the comedian test. My father died when I was in the 6th grade in elementary school, and my mother had a chronic illness. “My sisters were older,” she said.

He continued, “I thought I had to earn money after graduating from high school. While I’m working, aren’t there announcements for new comedians every year? “When I saw that, my heart beat so hard I couldn’t work,” he said.

He worked as a Japanese chef for five years, but after giving up, he worked in an event company and prepared for the comedian exam, passing it in 11 attempts. He passed the MBC comedian recruitment test with first place, but dropped out because he couldn’t adapt. The following year, he passed the SBS open recruitment and began his career as a comedian again.

Jo Won-seok said, “I performed during the day, worked in business at night, and paid my mother’s living expenses. Suddenly, my mother fell ill. “I went to hospital and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer with three months to live,” she said.

He continued, “What was really ridiculous was that the emergency room hospital bill was 900,000 won and 300,000 won in my bank account. It reminded me of the day when I didn’t do my homework during the holidays when I was at school. I felt like I was living without caring for those around me. “That’s how I took a break from comedy again,” he said.

After fighting the disease for a year, my mother died. He started doing comedy again in 2005, and after 2007, he started gaining popularity with the character ‘Sin Min-su’, a parody of the movie actor Choi Min-soo.

But the popularity did not last long. He said, “I was an alcoholic. I created a problem because of alcohol. Drink and drive twice. My brain is already damaged. “I couldn’t share my joy with anyone and I was always alone, so I started to feel sorry for myself,” she said. “Now that I think about it, I’m the kind of person who shouldn’t be a comedian. . Too scared. “I solved this with alcohol,” he said.

He continued, “When I was unknown, I couldn’t be so worried because I was drinking alcohol and things went well. I couldn’t stand it when the programs were arranged one by one. If I felt good because I was funny today, I consoled myself by congratulating myself. If you drink alcohol the day before and feel this good, you feel just as bad the next day. “I became bipolar,” he recalled.

When asked, “Did you drink even after experiencing the abyss of drunk driving?” he replied, “After drinking, my depression deepens. I thought I must die so I tried twice. What was a big surprise was that I got a call from my aunt. I hung up and said that nothing was wrong, and I came to my senses and lived. The second time, I was about to jump when I got a call from an acquaintance. An acquaintance asks, ‘Are you OK?’ He said. I came down crying. “I tried to die twice,” he said.
