The Ronaldo Effect; Al-Nasr jumped in the social media ranking, surpassing Manchester United

With the arrival of Ronaldo, Al Nasr and the Saudi Pro League have captured the world’s attention.
Al Nasser’s brand value and global reputation increased when Renault signed him for a whopping €225m a year.

But now Al Nasr have overtaken Manchester United to fourth place in the world in terms of social media engagement.

Depor Finance has reported the news that Al Nasr has risen to fourth place in social media interactions.

Ronaldo, who is performing brilliantly at Al Nasser, has signed his hand in each of the last 10 goals scored by the Saudi club. Ronaldo has also scored eight goals in six games for Al Nasr.

Last January, there were a total of 150 million social media interactions related to Al Nasr on social media.

Only Barcelona with 203 million interactions, PSG with 207 million interactions and Real Madrid with 209 million interactions are ahead of Al Nasser.

Manchester United are in fifth place with 149 million interactions.

Manchester City in ninth place, Chelsea in 11th place, Arsenal in 14th place and Liverpool in 17th place are the other prominent clubs on the list.

Meanwhile, Al Nasr is in first place in the Saudi Pro League with 43 points with 13 wins from 18 matches. The club’s next game is against Al Batin on March 3.
