The Saudi national team bids farewell to the Asian Cup with a dramatic loss to South Korea… video and photos

The Saudi national team suffered a severe defeat against its South Korean counterpart, with a score of 4-2, in the match that was held between the two teams on Tuesday evening at the Education City Stadium in the round of 16 competitions of the Asian Cup currently being held in Qatar.

With this result, the South Korean national team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup, setting up a date with Australia in the confrontation that will be held next Friday.

Saudi Arabia vs. South Korea

The regular and extra time ended in a 1-1 draw between the Saudi teams against South Korea in one of the strongest matches of the tournament.

The two goals of the match were scored by Abdullah Hadi Redeef in the 46th minute for the Saudi national team, while Cho Kyu-seong scored the goal for the South Korean national team in the 90th minute of the match.

The Saudi national team qualified for the round of sixteen in the Asian Cup, after topping the Group Six standings with 7 points from three matches, collected by winning two matches and drawing in one match, scoring 4 goals and conceding a goal, compared to 5 points for the second-placed Thai team.

Goalkeeper: Ahmed Al-Kassar.

Defensive line: Ali Lagami – Hassan Timbukti – Ali Al-Blihi.

Midfield: Saud Abdul Hamid – Nasser Al-Dosari – Abdullah Al-Khaibari – Muhammad Kannou – Muhammad Al-Buraik.

Offensive line: Saleh Al-Shehri – Salem Al-Dosari.
