The Saudi national team regains Ayman Yahya against Tajikistan in the World Cup qualifiers

Saudi press reports revealed today, Wednesday, that the Saudi national team winger joined Al-Akhdar before facing his counterpart, the Tajikistan national team, at nine o’clock tomorrow evening, Thursday, Cairo time, in the framework of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper confirmed that Ayman Yahya, the winger of the first Saudi national football team, joined the group training after completing his readiness, in preparation for facing Tajikistan, on Thursday, in the seventh group of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.

Press reports indicated earlier that Ayman Yahya did not participate in the Saudi national team’s group training last Sunday and Monday before he joined them yesterday evening, Tuesday, for the first time.

She continued that, over the course of two days, Ayman Yahya performed his own individual exercises accompanied by the medical staff of the Saudi national team.

The Green players conducted their training session at the First Park Stadium under the supervision of Italian coach Roberto Mancini, and it began with warm-up exercises, after which the players applied various technical and tactical sentences, before the coach imposed a maneuver on the entire area of ​​​​the field, and concluded it with a stretch.

The Green Falcons will continue their preparatory program today, Wednesday, with a training session on the Mahd Academy fields at nine in the evening, and it has been decided that it will be open to the media.

The Saudi Green is at the top of Group Seven in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup, which includes alongside it the teams of Jordan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan, with six points gained from two victories.
