Juventus are trying to sign star striker Martial from Manchester United.
Martial, who was completely behind in the team’s starting competition, publicly announced his intention to leave the team through the transfer time in January. Several teams, including Sevilla, have shown interest in Martial, but the transfer is not easy due to his huge weekly salary.
But Martial’s will is strong. Interim manager Ralph Langnick has announced that Martial has refused to play in the Premier League match against Aston Villa. He received a lot of criticism, and fans are calling him to “leave”.
In the meantime, will the savior appear in Martial? Italian media ‘Calcio Mercato’ reported that Juventus are pushing for a striker and have named Martial as a new candidate.
Arsenal’s Pierre Aubameyang and Fiorentina’s Doosan Vlahovic may be better options, but the media argues that Martial is a more realistic alternative for Juventus.
Martial has two and a half years left on his contract with Manchester United. In 268 appearances for United, he scored 79 goals and provided 50 assists.
