Through a statement, the agency detailed that around 24,109,222 students and 1,224,351 teachers from 229,691 of 229,691 schools will go on vacation as part of Holy Week.

“Starting tomorrow, Monday, March 25, 24.1 million students and 1.2 million Basic Education teachers will suspend activities,” the bulletin reads.
Regarding the five million 379 thousand 859 students and 420 thousand 463 teachers of the 21 thousand 266 Higher Secondary Education schools, in the school and non-school modalities, they will also resume activities on April 8.
Regarding Higher Education, the school authorities of the country’s 8,789 schools will determine the vacation period for the 5,192,618 students and 490,309 teachers.

For Aguascalientes, and due to the celebrations of the San Marcos Fair 2024, the vacation period for the 423,056 students and 23,659 teachers from 2,240 school sites will be from April 15 to 26, returning to school activities on Monday the 29th.
