County Clare, Ireland, beckons with its rich tradition of Irish music. From the lively pubs of Bunratty too the
rolling hills of east Clare, the county resonates with melodies that captivate visitors. Just a short drive from
Shannon Airport, the village of Bunratty offers a taste of this musical heritage. At Durty Nelly’s pub and the
Creamery, traditional sessions draw crowds into the heart of Irish culture.
Clare’s unique geography has shaped its cultural identity. Bordered by the Atlantic and the River Shannon, the
county remained somewhat isolated for centuries, fostering a vibrant scene for language, music, and traditions.
This independence is palpable in coastal villages near the Cliffs of Moher and the Loop Head Peninsula.
