Jose Lopez, who sexually assaulted a female guest on a reality TV show, was sentenced to 15 months in prison by the Criminal Court of Madrid on the 17th, according to a report from Spain’s “Abésai”.

According to reports, in 2017, Lopez was chosen to participate in the famous Spanish experience reality show “Big Brother”, which allowed 9 strangers to live together for 106 days and recorded with cameras 24 hours a day.

In the show, Lopez established a good relationship with a girl named Carlota Prado. After an alcoholic orgy, Lopez sexually assaulted a drunken Prado in a quilt and filmed the entire process. After the incident, the program crew did not tell Prado the truth, but they let her watch the video of her being sexually assaulted live, which made her break down and cry.

In addition, Lopez received a restraining order issued by the court, prohibiting him from approaching the victim in any way for 4 years and paying her 6,000 euros in compensation.

The court ruled that, in addition to the punishment of the sexual attacker Lopez, the group of the program ignored the feelings of the victim and showed the video without any preparation, and that it also needed to compensate him for mental damage.
