SBS entertainment program ‘Baek Jong-won’s Alley Restaurant’ MC Kim Seong-joo criticized the owner’s wrong sales method.
In ‘Baek Jong-won’s Alley Restaurant’, which aired on the 1st, the third story of ‘Jeju Geumak Village’, a project to revive the local economy, was unfolded.
Following the cooking mission, the applicants from the 8 teams entered the sales mission. Two teams compete in a one-on-one match and sell a set item within 30 minutes. All teams had to sell the same item for the same price.
When items for sale such as a chicken-shaped air freshener, chicken toy, movie ‘parasite’ sunglasses, LED mouthpiece, nipple patch, grass slippers, umbrella hat, 10 hot packs, sandals, and a belly bag were revealed, all the contestants were worried.
The first round was a match between Kim Jong-wook and Kim Tae-hwan. Kim Jong-wook was active in sales, and despite the hot weather, he succeeded in selling hot packs. Baek Jong-won admired, “It’s great to sell hot packs in the summer,” and Kim Tae-hwan, the opposing team, was frustrated early on seeing such a thing.
In the second round, the Choi brothers and Choi Doo-hwan and Lee Seul-bin faced off. The couple sold umbrella hats and succeeded in opening customers’ wallets, saying, “It’s much cheaper than the lowest price on the Internet.” Since then, 10 items have been sold out with a customized sales strategy. After that, he helped the Choi brothers sell. Baek Jong-won, who saw this, praised, “I got one point in attitude.”
In the end, Ryu Ik-ha and Song Joo-young got together. Ryu Ik-ha succeeded in selling sandals, heralding a pleasant start. However, as Song Joo-young had a difficult time bringing guests, Ryu Ik-ha started intercepting the guests. After that, Ryu Ik-ha interrupted Song Ju-young’s business several times. Baek Jong-won said, “Oh, it’s a foul,” and Kim Seong-joo frowned, saying, “It’s not a good idea.” When Song Joo-young sold grass slippers, Ryu Ik-ha kept them in check, saying, “That’s rough.” In the end, the customer left without buying anything.
Baek Jong-won pointed out, “In that case, it is difficult for a customer to buy one. Kim Seong-ju lamented, “Why are you doing business with me and intervening next to me?”
The 8th place in the ranking of sales attitudes scored by Baek Jong-won was Lucky. As for the reason, he said, “I showed everything that shouldn’t be shown while doing business. Consideration for others and attitude toward customers are not good. Wasn’t the customer uncomfortable?”
As a result of the final sale, the Du-seul couple took first place. Second place was the Choi Brothers team. The 3rd place was placed by Jo Ah-reum, and the 4th place was placed by Kim Jong-wook. 5th place was Song Ju-young and 6th place was Lee Ji-hoon. 7th place was Ryu Ik-ha, and 8th place was Kim Tae-hwan. Kim Jong-wook overwhelmingly took first place and brought tears to his eyes.
