Arrested for the crime of robbery in an inhabited place was the result of a police operation in the La Villa s/n sector of Isla de Yáquil, commune of Santa Cruz. At the place, police personnel met with the victim, who indicated that she heard noises at her home, verifying the presence of unknown subjects inside and outside her home.
Upon seeing the presence of the owner, the subjects, specifically one of them who was outside the property, fired a shot at the ground with a shotgun, hitting some pellets in the victim’s hand, and the subjects fled from the place.
After that, police officers controlled a vehicle in the vicinity of the home with two subjects, one of them accused by the victim as the author of the shot, proceeding to arrest him at the scene. The individuals stole from the home 15 bottles of wine of the “Picaflor” brand, valued at 500,000 pesos, in addition to a cannabis sativa plant owned by the victim. It was not possible to recover the species or the weapons. The victim found minor injuries, while the Prosecutor on duty ordered the detainee to go to detention control.
