Actually not so many surprises. Infinity Ward has confirmed that the latest title in the Call of Duty series is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which is expected to launch on PC and home consoles as soon as later this year.
The official announcement on Twitter “The new era of Call of Duty is coming.” The first trailer that appeared on the same scene, although not much information was revealed, appeared the Logo of Task Force 141.
Infinity Ward rebooted Modern Warfare in 2019 after years of the Modern Warfare sideline. In order to distinguish the product markings of the new and old sequels, the first time it is marked with Arabic numerals “1, 2….4”, the 2022 version of the new work uses “Roman numerals”, which is “Decisive Moment: Modern Warfare II”.
