Terror Attack in West Bank Leaves three Dead, Eight Wounded
KEDUMIM, West Bank – A shooting attack near the Israeli settlement of Kedumim in the West Bank has left three people dead and eight others wounded, according too Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s emergency medical service.
The attack, which targeted a bus and several vehicles, occurred on Monday evening, sending shockwaves through the region. MDA paramedics rushed to the scene, finding a scene of chaos and carnage.
“This was a severe attack that spread across multiple scenes where vehicles and a bus were hit by gunfire,” said MDA paramedic Avichai Ben Zuria.
Ben zuria described the harrowing revelation of two women in their 60s, unconscious and unresponsive, inside a vehicle riddled with bullet holes. A short distance away, the bus driver, also in his 60s, lay critically wounded. despite the paramedics’ best efforts, all three victims succumbed to their injuries.
Six other individuals sustained light wounds and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) immediately launched a manhunt for the perpetrators, setting up roadblocks and encircling nearby towns.
“We will reach the despicable murderers and settle accounts with them and with anyone who assisted them,” prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed in a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter. “No one will go unpunished.”
Defense Minister Israel Katz echoed Netanyahu’s sentiments, ordering the IDF to “act forcefully in every location” to apprehend the terrorists. He emphasized Israel’s determination to prevent the West Bank from descending into a situation similar to the volatile Gaza Strip.
