[골프한국 권준혁 기자] ‘Emperor of Golf’ Tiger Woods (USA) finished in a tie for 45 after a four-day layoff in the regular tournament of the US Professional Golf Tour (PGA), which he returned after about seven months.

On the 20th (Korea time), Woods birdied 3 in the 4th round of the PGA Tour Genesis Invitational special event (total prize money of $20 million) held at Riviera Country Club (par 71, 7,322 yards) in Palisades, California, USA on the 20th (Korea time) He tied the dog and 5 bogeys to hit a 2-over par 73.

Woods, who started from hole 1 (par 5), was in trouble as his second shot from the rough first hole bent severely to the right, but he put the ball on the green with his third shot and held birdie about 4m.

At hole 3 (par 4), with a shot from the bunker in front of the green, he put the ball 3.5m to the side of the hole and blocked it with a par. At hole 4 (par 3), after missing the green, he holed out with a 0.9m par putt.

Woods, who blocked the shot well even though he was shaking, made the first bogey on the 5th hole (par 4). After the second shot missed the green, he missed par by 1.2m.

In the 6th hole (par 3), which was an opportunity, the 2.1m birdie putt missed slightly, and the 6m birdie on the fringes in the 7th hole (par 4) was a little short.

Woods, who passed 7 holes with even par, recorded consecutive bogeys on holes 8 and 9 (over par 4). As a result they both had short approach shots and left demanding par-putts.

Woods, who lost two strokes in the first half, managed to maintain his at-bats by repeating bogey-birdies in the second half. In the 10th hole (par 4) and the 11th hole (par 5), birdie putts 5.1m and 2.1m did not go in.

In hole 12 (par 4), the second shot went behind the green, and the par 6m putt attempted on the edge passed the hole. In the 13th hole (par 4) that followed, a 9.1mi birdie putt gave him a try around the green. Woods, who made a valuable birdie in a frustrating game, showed ceremony by clenching his fists.

After that, on the 15th hole (par 4), he bogeyed a 3 putt at a distance of 16m, and made up for it with a birdie putt from about 1.5m on the 16th hole (par 3).

He holed out with pars on the last two holes. Hole 17 (par 5) made a birdie chance from 2.8m with a greenside bunker shot, but the putt did not go in. He finished the 18th hole (par 4) with a 2-over, 2-putt par.

Woods recorded 1 eagle, 13 birdies and 14 bogeys in four days of this tournament, and nothing more than a double bogey.

Average driving accuracy from rounds 1 to 4 was 50% (28/56), tied for 35th among participating players, and green hit rate was 58.3% (42/72), 24th. In particular, she was not pushed away from the flying distance. He was tied for 24th in average drive distance (306.2 yards) and 10th in longest drive (364 yards).

In particular, it was the short game, including putting, that caught Woods’ ankle.

Hitting the green, putts averaged 1.762, 42nd, sand save rate 33.3% (2/6), tied for 52nd, and scramble 60% (18/30), tied for 53rd .

In strokes gained, approach to green was 2.338 (23rd), while around the green was -0.791 (45th) and putting was -0.462 (44th).

In the final round on the last day, hitting the green, he tied for 55th with 1.889 putts, and scored strokes gained: -1.611 (51st) in putts.
