Barbour Expands Online Presence in Korea with New Official Store
Barbour, a British heritage brand with 130 years of tradition, has announced the opening of its new official online store in Korea. This move aims to expand the brand’s contact with customers and provide a more convenient shopping experience.
The official online store offers a responsive design optimized for various digital environments, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers. The UI/UX is built simply and intuitively, allowing users to explore the brand’s 130-year history and story at a glance.
In addition to the brand’s signature wax jacket, the online store features a range of new items, including lightweight non-waxed products, rain boots, and polo shirts. Sales in the first half of this year grew by more than 30% year-on-year, demonstrating the brand’s growing popularity in Korea.
LF, the company behind Barbour’s Korean operations, plans to continue investing in ways to increase customers’ convenience and ease of purchase. This includes introducing a customer style suggestion function through image-based AI recommendations.
The online store also features a “Discover” corner, dedicated to sensory content, providing diverse content such as product and store-related information, special features of Barbour jackets, and how to care for rain boots.
To celebrate the opening of the official online store, LF is holding a special promotion until September 30, offering various benefits such as discount coupons and review event reward points.
An official from LF Barbour stated, “We have recently expanded our lineup to include rain boots and non-wax jackets, continuing our strategic expansion into a total lifestyle brand.”
