Newly released audio captures the‌ moment OceanGate ‍CEO Stockton Rush dismissed the company’s operations director, who had raised⁣ alarms about the safety of the Titan submersible.The audio is part of Netflix’s documentary, “Titan: the OceanGate Disaster,” which examines ⁣the ill-fated 2023 ⁤expedition.

David Lochridge, the fired operations director, had previously voiced serious concerns regarding the⁣ submersible’s safety before its tragic voyage. The Titan submersible imploded during a June 2023 expedition to the Titanic wreckage,resulting in the deaths of all five people on board. The incident prompted a large-scale international search ‍and rescue⁢ operation.
