High school students in Los Angeles County received free formal attire through a community initiative aimed at supporting youth participation in school events.

The program, organized by the Positive Results Center in partnership with local volunteers, provided prom dresses, tuxedos, shoes, and accessories to hundreds of students who might otherwise lack access to proper attire for school dances and formal gatherings.

Lewis, a coordinator with the Positive Results Center, emphasized that the initiative helps reduce financial barriers for families while promoting dignity and confidence among young people preparing for milestone events like prom.

Students were able to select outfits during a scheduled event where volunteers assisted with fittings and styling, ensuring each participant received a complete look suited to their preferences and needs.

The effort reflects broader community support for student well-being, particularly in addressing socioeconomic challenges that can affect access to traditional high school experiences.

Organizers noted that the positive results from past events have encouraged continued expansion of the program, with plans to serve more students in upcoming school years.
