  1. Theme Identification: Each Strands puzzle centers around a specific theme. Look for words related to that theme.

  2. Submitting Guesses: Drag or click on the letters to form words. Click the last letter twice to submit. Theme words will light up in blue.

  3. Finding Hint Words: Locate three hint words that are at least four letters each to receive a theme word. If you can’t unscramble it, find three more hint words for a letter order hint.

  4. Locate the Spangram: Search for the spangram, a theme word that spans the puzzle. It summarizes the theme.

  5. Complete the Puzzle: Use every letter on the board in either a theme word or spangram. Theme words fill the entire board and do not overlap.
