Togo: The President of the DRC in Lomé this Wednesday

The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Félix Antoine Tshisekedi-Tshilombo made a working visit this Wednesday to Lomé.

This trip is part of regular consultations between the two leaders, aimed at strengthening cooperation between Togo and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), underlines an official press release.

President Faure Gnassingbé and his Congolese counterpart had one-on-one talks during which they reviewed bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their willingness to work to strengthen this partnership in various areas of common interest.

They also discussed issues of peace and security in the different regions of the continent.

The last meeting between the two leaders dates back to July 28, 2023 in Kinshasa, during the inaugural ceremony of the ninth (IXth) Francophonie games. FIN
