Toray Advanced Materials, with its headquarters located in Gumi, Gyeongbuk, was honored with the ‘800 Million Dollar Export Tower’ at the prestigious ’60th Trade Day Ceremony’ held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 5th.
The company, known for its global presence and advanced technology, has been recognized for its export competitiveness in various business sectors including polyester film and IT materials, carbon fiber composite materials, PPS resin, water treatment filters, spunbond nonwovens, raw cotton, yarn, and aramid.

He emphasized the company’s dedication to elevating Korea’s materials industry by expanding exports, improving quality, and innovating in new markets.
This year, the company is focusing on strengthening its ESG management by venturing into the eco-friendly advanced materials field, including expansion of carbon fiber and advanced engineering plastic facilities, entry into water treatment maintenance (O&M) businesses, and production of secondary battery separators.
